Code-specific guidance for E011
Your range display shows E011 (sometimes listed as E11). That usually points to an electronic control or communication check on the cooktop or oven interface—note whether burners still respond and whether the code appeared after a power blink.
Do not force high heat to “test” the oven if the panel locks out or you smell electrical heat. Follow the owner manual for a single safe reset, then stop if the code returns during normal cooking.
Contact Thermador Support at the phone on this site with model, serial, and what the range was doing when the code appeared—we service Thermador ranges as an independent team and are not a factory-authorized dealer.
What to track before you call
- Exact timing: note which cycle step, mode, or temperature setting triggered E011.
- Repeatability: record whether the code returns immediately after reset or only under heavier demand.
- Related symptoms: capture any unusual sounds, heat changes, leaks, smells, or electrical trips.
- Model details: keep model and serial ready so we can route the right parts and test path.
